James Gilliland Declares ECETI Ranch Off Limits

In an email sent to his followers announcing his dissatisfaction with media reports, James Gilliland said "I believe the majority of the UFO community has become convoluted and riddled with disinformation".

The ECETI ranch is a UFO hotspot regularly visited by UFO enthusiasts and investigators who expect to see UFO's, orbs and light trails. UFO's have been reportedly been pursued by US Government aircraft above Gilliland's ranch.

Gilliland is a famous UFO researcher who seeks publicity and self promotes his property to UFO groups and reporters but who now wants to pursue investigations without UFO and paranormal groups getting in the way.

Here is the full text of Gilliland's explanation as to why he is withdrawing from UFO and paranormal groups.

"Before we begin I would like to express this letter is not to the people of integrity which are far and few between in the UFO community. They will understand and completely agree with what I am about to say. This letter is to all the conference boards, talk show hosts and others within the community who continue to deal with half truths and perpetuate the dark threatening agendas concerning our off world visitors totally ignoring the fact that the majority of off worlders are very spiritually and technologically advanced as well as benevolent.

The fear and suspense along with other hidden agendas via disinformation agents has so infiltrated ufology that the higher truth has been virtually pushed out. The UFO community has become the very conspiracy and censors of truth they set out in the beginning to expose. It has become a plethora of disinformation, misinformation, and massive egos wanting to be messiahs each thinking they have the big picture when all they have is a small piece of the pie. The field has become so corrupted, convoluted, and whacked out the real contactees and the bigger picture with positive contacts really have little or no forum to express. They are eventually squeezed out especially when it comes to women. Women who do not agree with the dark foreboding agendas of many ex-military or top government officials who either see everything as a threat due to pre-programming or are there to support the war industry which needs a new threat to continue its massive budget.

The vast majority of off worlders which includes those coming from the higher dimensions are benevolent so why is the vast majority of the conferences and radio show programming focused on the negative regenerate side? Why is the negative, regenerate side given all the air and podium time which is completely disproportionate to reality? Personally I believe the majority of the UFO community has become so convoluted and riddled with disinformation along with those sitting on boards who perpetuate the mis and disinformation with NWO connections not to mention the material driven circus there is no way any off world visitor would have anything to do with it. As a venue for truth it is unsalvageable.

This is why I have no more desire to operate or involve myself further with these groups. I will continue as a spokesman for contact with benevolent off world visitors through other venues. I will also continue to hold our own conferences and invite those on the cutting edge who are working towards the advancement or awakening and healing of humanity and the Earth. The Self Mastery and Kunlun classes will continue as well. With the regular appearances of the UFOs here at ECETI and the appearances of grand masters which have been photographed one would think there would be a strong interest and desire to promote the ongoing outrageous events happening at the ECETI Ranch. One would think with UFOs buzzing TV reporters and thousands of eyewitnesses with PHDs in every field, pilots, air traffic controllers etc. there would be a strong interest in the ranch yet in fact it is entirely the opposite going as far as suppressing or ignoring the events altogether by major conference organizers and talk show hosts.

The number one question when people come here and see the ships, experience the higher consciousness and energy experiencing spontaneous healings and incredible awakenings is why is this not getting out to others. Why is the spiritual and UFO community not jumping all over this. My only answer is ask them what they are afraid of. Why do they have so much resistance to the truth and what is it in them that is threatened? They have become wrong they set out to right. Twenty three million people watched the trailer to the movie Contact Has Begun, His Story with James Gilliland and now it is on Net Flicks. Robbie Williams the UK pop star and other UK stars have come to the ranch. The Latin countries are blasting the contacts and sightings here all over their media and four ships came in all at once at the last Science, Spirit and World Transformation conference filmed by the speakers along with a field full of people. It is blasted all over youtube. Fox News just did a real positive piece and this Thursday KOIN 6 will air their report where a UFO buzzed the reporter at ECETI and powered up right over his head. Despite the UFO community the truth is flowing like a river but not through their venue. It is time for people to do their own research and look into those in the UFO community who have maintained their integrity in a search for truth. Those that continue to keep you looking in the past, painting dark foreboding fearful agendas without addressing the benevolent side of contact are doing a grave injustice to the people, the off worlders, and the possibility of a quantum leap in evolution. To me this is not a service to humanity but in some cases an extreme disservice which is why I will no longer seek these venues to serve humanity or the greater family of man.

1901 NOLA "Spooky Places"

I am posting this not so much as to comment on the pictures themselves, but to give credit to my sources and the photographers.

Permission to use these photos was given to me to develop an indexing system, 1988-1990, for the photo collection in the Louisiana Division of the New Orleans Public Library. I still have scans of photocopies of the photos, so I have decided to share them with P&M.

Here, at P&M, except for the original photo posted by Gabbas, "Moss Avenue in City Park, New Orleans, 1901", I have definitely identified the photographers as "Durkee" and "Mugnier". I cannot identify the photographer for "Moss Avenue", although it might be "Teunisson". The library's website is www.nutrias.com.

ATHENAEUM: Something definitely weird is happening. Ordinarily, when you have a door with a cut glass inset as you see with the Athenaeum, you can expect a lot of sparkly feedback from the glass, whether the light is hitting the glass from an outdoor or indoor source. The way the light is hitting the inset does not "jive" very well with the way most of the sparkles are arrayed in front of it. In THE ORB PROJECT, it says that orbs like to gather in "happy places". The Athenaeum was definitely a happy place, filled with music, song, and theatre over a century ago.

MYRA CLARKE GAINES' CRYPT: This little lady kept lawyers busy with continuations of lawsuits both before and after she died in the early 19th century. However, look at the wisps of what seems to be translucent smoke rising up from the front of the crypt. The broken up tomb behind the crypt has water stains all down it, but these do not line up with the "smoke". I have explored this cemetery on occasion. (Do not go in unless you have a group with you these days; some would say you need an armed escort, but that is just hearsay.) Even someone who is mildly sensitive should be aware of the presence of the shades of many people in clothing of styles of centuries ago. The atmosphere is more like that of a country club for them than a place full of human remains that have long turned to dust.

Entities: All In The Family?

Over the past few months, it has become apparent that I seem to have been allowed to become the authority on things like VooDoo, Santeria, and West African religion and culture. I don't claim to have that authority, but when I can, I will tell about what I do know. I have read about these things in published anthologies on the paranormal, although I have witnessed some events for which I have no explanation.

This page is an outgrowth from my comments on my page "Shadow People, New Orleans, 2005?" The question was asked if diminuitive "shadow people" had really been seen sitting in trees above the flood waters in the City after the inundation of 80 per cent of Orleans Parish by man-made floods after Hurricane Katrina in August, 2005.

Apart from the expressions of West African beliefs and culture as you will find it among the populations of the islands of the Caribbean, New Orleans is a place where acknowledgement of the existence of such things -- possibly "right next door" -- is part of everyone's background. With that acknowledgement comes the absolute understanding that such things are to be given the fullest measure of respect, even if you as an individual don't believe in them.

Even more astounding is the fact that because there are so many different manifestations from the other dimensions in the universe, manifestations that seem to come to hang out in the City, we have come to just think of them as "part of the family". In fact, for better or worse, we locals think of ourselves as one big family -- with lots of troubles and divisions -- yet nevertheless, family. That includes ghosts, the Loup Garrou and the Honey Island Swamp monster as well.

Central to the West African-type religions is belief in shadowy entities, something like gnomes or tiny elves, usually unclothed, known as "lois", pronounced low-ee (singular) or low-eez (plural). People attract them and use them to perform errands, use otherworldly powers to heal or harm, or even create mayhem. People who are masters/mistresses of "loi management" are called, if a woman, a Mama-loi, or if a man, a Papa-loi. The relationship is symbiotic. Some people would call these people "witch doctors".

No doubt in certain neighborhoods there is a presence of practitioners of the West African religions. No doubt they believed that they attracted "lois" to themselves. However, when the flood waters rose, these practitioners fled to save their lives, and left the "lois" behind. The "lois" got up into the trees, I would imagine, if people saw them, to stay dry. (If water affects them negatively, what is this effect? Can it be used to keep them at bay?) Whether there has been any reconciliation among the various factions is something that will have to be left to the imagination.

Shadow People, New Orleans, 2005?

Much to my surprise, I read an account here at P&M from one of our regular posters, that in the aftermath of the man-made, post-Katrina floods in metro New Orleans, starting August 29, 2005, shadowy human-like forms had allegedly been observed emerging from sewer manholes and storm drains. What astounded me even more was that it was alleged that these shadow people had been tampering with -- eating -- the corpses of people who had died as the freezing, fetid waters welled up around them.

If you would like to read the "official" account with lots of pictures and statistics, find a copy of the book (through your local library; that will save you the money), published by the Times-Picayune newspaper, KATRINA: RUIN AND RECOVERY. You may also want to visit www.nola.com and locate the link there to the Katrina Archives; text and photo collections are to be found there.

The bodies of people who had died in the floods were eventually retrieved intensively, up through October 3, 2005, by para-military groups and brought to a refrigerated processing depot at St. Gabriel. Had there been any evidence of suspicious damage resembling the eating of or gnawing on any of the bodies, it would have been noted in the extensive work-up sheet for each individual corpse. (Such damage is known to have been caused by rats, mice, opossums, raccoons, and even abandoned house pets.) If such damage had occurred, there was no mention of any of it in the "official reports", however.

Now, as for the shadow people: The culture of New Orleans is more allied with that of the islands of the Caribbean than the mainland United States in some surprising ways. The influences of West African beliefs and traditions flow strongly in ways most social scientists cannot even begin to imagine.

The unspoken consensus from top to bottom, across all economic and social lines, is this: New Orleans is a spirit-filled place unlike any other place in America, if not the whole world. No matter how weird it is, if it came from the other side, and it is here, now, the best thing we can do is simply regard it as family.

No doubt there are shadow people here just as they are probably seen in the videos by Paul and David. However, it is my opinion that such beings are more interested in attaching themselves to the living, in order to get attention, so they end up in videos that are seen on the internet around the world. I do not ever recall in any of the accounts from Paul or David that their visitors were ever seen to ingest anything "meaty". As Mike and others have explained, such beings live off of the energy of living beings exclusively.

I hope this answers some of the questions out there, and puts some of them to rest altogether.

Mailbag: Human Adult-Sized Flying Cryptid Near Pacific, Missouri

We were in Pacific, MO, tonight around 11:30 PM and noticed a massive flying creature, not once but three times. My son even noticed it on his own the third time. We were near a large cliff/mountain with some type of cave openings. We don't live in the area, I can say for sure we turned onto a road called Viaduct Road, went past a fire station and continued on for about 1 mile before we first noticed it. It was brownish/grey and the body portion was at least the size of a large adult human. This creature was tracking us - in a circle pattern. We were driving an Escalade with the blue color headlights and this may have cause interest in us. The third time around we viewed it in front of the vehicle, around the driver side and around towards the rear of the vehicle. The factory tinted windows did help it vanish into the sky from out point of view.

Please understand when we could see it the range must have been about 150 feet in the air, not more than 250 feet. The distance was never less than 100 yards, often much greater. We were going about 35- 45 MPH. I have never thought of anything like this in my life! It is 3:33 AM and my son and myself are wide awake in a hotel, 17 miles away from the place we first noticed the creature. Please notify me if you become aware of similar sightings. Thanks.

Nantiinaq: Half Man, Half Beast

homertribune.com - Malania Helen Kehl, Nanwalek’s eldest resident, is frequently called upon around the village to impart her memories of how life used to be on this southern-most tip of the Kenai Peninsula.

Among her remembrances are medicines used to heal the sick and ways of preserving sea lion meat in barrels for winter. She also is one of the last to tell the ghostly story of how the village of Port Chatham came to be deserted; why the abandoned town was shunned, and those who once lived there vowed never to return.

Malania was born Jan. 25, 1934 at Port Chatham, then a small village founded at the edge of a peaceful moorage. The village once offered shelter for many people, including Capt. Nathaniel Portlock’s ship on his 1786 Alaska expedition. But when Malania was a baby, the family abruptly moved away from Chatham, leaving the house and every board of its frame behind.

What frightening situation caused John and Helen Romanoff to take their children and flee to Nanwalek?

“We left our houses and the school, and started all new here,” Malania said in a recent interview, speaking in her traditional Sugt’stun through translator Sally Ash. “There was plentiful land here for gardening and people. My parents built a house on the beach.”

What had frightened Malania’s parents hadn’t been a single event. Over a “long period of time,” a nantiinaq (Nan-te-nuk) – or big hairy creature – was reportedly terrorizing villagers. And Malania also told of the spirit of a woman dressed in draping black clothes that would come out of the cliffs.

“Her dress was so long she would drag it,” Malania said. “She had a very white face and would disappear back into the cliffs.”

The goose-bumped terror felt when people encountered these spirits was nothing compared to what happened to Malania’s godfather, Andrew Kamluck. He was logging in 1931, when someone or something hit him over the head with a piece of log-moving equipment. The blow reportedly killed him instantly.

Malania isn’t the only one to tell of strange events at Port Chatham. Port Graham Elder, Simeon Kvasnikoff, said he remembers when nantiinaq was blamed for the disappearance of a gold miner.

“This one guy over there had a little place where he was digging for gold,” Kvasnikoff said. “He went up there one time and never came back. No one found any sign of him.”

Another story recounted the experience of a sawmill owner named Tom Larsen, who had a job cutting wood for the old fish traps. He told of spotting nantiinaq on the beach once. After going back to his house to get his gun, he returned to the beach and “the thing looked at him,” Kvasnikoff said. For some reason, Larsen decided against firing a shot.

In an April 15, 1973 issue of the Anchorage Daily News, a feature article told of the abandoned cannery town of Portlock near Port Chatham. The writer had learned the story during an evening spent with the school teacher and his wife at English Bay (Nanwalek) while on a boat trip.

The story is told:

“Portlock began its existence sometime after the turn of the century as a cannery town. In 1921, a post office was established there, and for a time the residents, mostly natives of Russian-Aleut mix, lived in peace with their picturesque mountain-and-sea setting.”

According to the ADN story, sometime in the beginning years of World War II, rumors began to seep along the Kenai Peninsula that things were not right in Portlock. Men from the cannery town would reportedly go up into the hills to hunt Dall sheep and bear, and never return. Worse yet, sometimes stories would circulate about mutilated bodies that were swept down into the lagoon, torn and dismembered in a way that bears could not, or would not, do.

“Tales were told of villagers tracking moose over soft ground. They would find giant, man-like tracks over 18 inches in length closing upon those of the moose, the signs of a short struggle where the grass had been matted down, then only the deep tracks of the manlike animal departing toward the high, fog-shrouded mountains …”
The article goes on to tell how the fed-up townfolk decided to move en masse, and by 1950, the U.S. Post office had closed there.

Even into more recent times, nantiinaq reports haven’t stopped entirely. A man who prefers to remain anonymous tells his story.

“In 1990, while I was working as a paramedic in Anchorage, we got called out on an alarm for a man having a heart attack at the state jail in Eagle River. He was a Native man in his 70s, and after I got him stabilized with IVs, O2 and cardiac drugs, my partner and I began to transport him to the Native Hospital in Anchorage.”

En route to the hospital, the paramedic and the Native man, an “Aleut” from Port Graham, talked about hunting. The paramedic had been to Dog Fish Bay and was once weathered in there.

“This old man sat up on the gurney and grabbed me by the front of my shirt. He got right up to my face and said, ‘Did it bother you?’ Well, with that question, the hair just stood up on the back of my head. I said, ‘Yes.’ “Did you see it?” was his next question. I said “No. ..Did you see it?” He said “No, but my brother seen it. It chased him.”

In August of 1973, Ed and two others were bowhunting for goats and black bear when a storm forced them to take shelter in Dogfish Bay Lagoon.

“We beached our skiff and let the tide run her dry. After a dinner of broiled salmon we turned in to our tent. Back in those days, the best tent I had was a dark green canvas job with a center pole and no windows or floor. We left the fire burning and cleaned the pots and pans so as not to attract bears during the night and turned in,” Ed wrote.

The sky was clear, but the wind was howling through the old growth timber that lined the shore. Sometime around 2 a.m., Dennis woke Ed after hearing what sounded like footsteps outside the tent. It wasn’t a bear. Ed said the walking – or rather creeping – continued until it half circled the tent.

“In August, there is still some light in the sky until about 10 or 11. I recall that we all were embarrassed about being afraid about the coming night. We had a flashlight and the rifle in the tent between us, locked and loaded. I finally dosed off but woke right up when Dennis squeezed my leg. The illuminated hands of my watch showed it was 2:30. Joe was already sitting up and had the rifle in hand. I heard the first step, not more than about 10 feet from the back of the tent. Slowly. Then another and another. Whatever this was, it sounded like it was walking on two feet. It made the same semi-circle around the tent. When we finally got enough courage to crawl out of the tent and turn the flashlight on, we saw nothing. No tracks, nothing. The third night we decided if it bothered us again, we would come out of the tent shooting. We were actually scared. It never came back the third night and the following day we had a break in the weather and got the heck out of there.”

Though Sasquatches became something of a popular phenomenon in the 1960s and ‘70s in the Lower 48, the nantiinaq in Sugt’stun culture has been around for a long time. According to the culture, he might be a different kind of creature, a tragic half-man, half-beast who wasn’t always in this condition. He perhaps used to be fully human.

Elder Nick Tanape said he doesn’t discredit the stories about nantiinaq, but says he’s never seen one.

“I think there’s something to them,” he said.

Malania said that, once her family moved to Nanwalek, the nantiinaq stayed far away and left them in peace. It didn’t follow them, and for that they were grateful. She grew up, raised 13 children and remains one of the few regional elders who can pass on the old traditions.

Malania – a favorite among the young people of Nanwalek, especially when she tells stories – learned many things from her grandmother, who was a traditional healer.

The Ancient Region of Anatolia,Rock Sites of Cappadocia (Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site)

I found this photo recently in the G. Eric and Edith Matson Photograph Collection and thought it might be of interest to the UFO enthusiasts.
The G. Eric and Edith Matson Negatives are a fantastic source of historical images of the Middle East—notably Palestine, present day Israel, and the West Bank—from 1898 to1946. The collection contains 20,000 glass and film photographic negatives, created by the American Colony Photo Department and its successor firm, the Matson Photo Service.
In the top left hand corner above the horizen is an object which may or may not be anything at all, it could even be a punch hole mark, however it did bring to mind something else I'd seen on my many searches on the Net! I'll leave that up to the viewers to make their own minds up on this one!

Ive being getting attacked by these since 1996, it started in house I was living with a couple of mates. . I was 23 young, 1 of me mates ewes to play with electronics. I started hearing people talking when I was in me room but I let it go and then they just started tormenting me. I thoughts me mates had some bugs in me room, electronic devices that can hear u. I was searching long and hard around to try and find them. But I couldnt find them. So they would go out and I would stay home all the time thinking there parked up the road with the bugs. I was scared they were coming to get me. I could hear them talking about me and they would laugh, . I decided to move. I had an enough got angry with them and said your buging me room. So I said im moving and moved ,heard them there is well. They made me bit more physic than I already was I mean I couldnt move around people I was scared I just knew what people were going to say and do I was lying to me self I became paroinoid I just stayed at home full on. I decided to move again and again till 9 years go I moved here. I was fed up by now so I got over blaming me mates and started thinking it was aliens or spirits. So I just took it. But up till two years ago I hadnt had an infrared camera. I seen 1 in a shop and bought it .40$ I came home plugged it in and bingo this is what has been tormenting me all this time. That why im angry at them because there so tormenting ive tried every thing to get rid of them. I still arnt convinced what they are spirits or aliens because they change. Back and forth. Theres heaps more I could tell but im not much of a writer thanx. I have tried beening nice but there are so many different entireties I dont know whose whom. Theres to names they refer to some times. They are RAY AND PETER but I think ray is short 4 grey ,& repeter short peters short 4 reptilian they r like there bosses. They r very repetitive thanx 4 listerning. Im trying to get rid of them from Paul. Unusual 'Fremont People' Petroglyphs Discovered

I received the following email from Ted:

This ancient writing (pictured above), done by the Fremont Peoples, (800 to 1000 yrs ago est.) is found just 10 miles from my home, located at Brush Creek, Utah.

I believe it depicts a Bigfoot creature, medicine man next to him, a full moon to his upper right, and another man lower right. As you can see, the creature is some 10 times the size of the man, has huge hands and feet. I have seen hundreds of these drawings here and NONE show these features.

The classic Fremont drawings of man are always 'V' in shape, while this guy is SQUARE and HUGE.

THE FREMONT PEOPLE OF UTAH

The Fremont culture or Fremont people is a pre-Columbian archaeological culture which received its name from the Fremont River in the U.S. state of Utah where the first Fremont sites were discovered. The Fremont River itself is named for John Charles Frémont, an American explorer. It inhabited sites in what is now Utah and parts of Nevada, Idaho and Colorado from AD 700 to 1300. It was adjacent to, roughly contemporaneous with, but distinctly different from the Anasazi culture.

Fremont Indian State Park in the Clear Creek Canyon area in south-central Utah contains the biggest Fremont culture site in Utah. A recent, major discovery of a new site at Range Creek, Utah, has drawn a great deal of interest because it has stayed undisturbed for centuries. Nearby Nine Mile Canyon has long been known for its large collection of Fremont rock art. Other sites are found in Dinosaur National Monument, Zion National Park and Arches National Park.

While there is as yet no firm consensus as to the Fremont comprising a single, cohesive group with a common language, ancestry or lifeway, there are several aspects of their material culture that give credence to this notion. First, it is well known by researchers that those referred to as the Fremont lived a lifestyle that revolved largely around hunting and gathering and corn horticulture, in other words a continuum of fairly reliable subsistence strategies that no doubt varied from place to place and time to time. This shows up in the archaeological record at most village sites and long term camps as a collection of butchered, cooked and then discarded bone from mostly deer and rabbits, charred corn cobs with the kernels removed, and wild edible plant remains. Other unifying characteristics include the manufacture of relatively expedient gray ware pottery and a signature style of basketry and rock art. Most of the Fremont lived in small single and extended family units comprising villages ranging from two to a dozen pithouse structures, with only a few having been occupied at any one time. Still, exceptions to this rule exist (partly why the Fremont have earned a reputation for being so hard to define), including an unusually large village in the Parowan Valley of southwestern Utah, the large and extensively excavated village of Five Finger Ridge at the above mentioned Fremont Indian State Park, and others, all appearing to be anomalous in that they were either occupied for a long period of time, were simultaneously occupied by a large number of people, sixty or more at any given moment, or both.

NOTE: a few weeks ago, I received some photos that were taken at the Stanley Hotel in Estes, Colorado that depicted the apparition of a human like being. This week, George Cassella forwarded 2 photos with this statement:
"...I was at The Stanley Hotel 2 weeks ago and after the tour (I took 4 orb pictures) I took pictures of the outside of the hotel…on the plane home I looked over all the pictures very closely. In this series I zoomed in on all the windows and discovered this one of a second floor window…it looked more like an apparition than an actual person. I contacted The Hotel the following day and was later told:"
OK, the room number is 1211. Last Friday, there was a single man checked in that room who was part of a business conference. That doesn't mean he DIDN'T have a child with him, but it is unlikely that he did. Cool pic!

Researchers Determine Morrison Ghost Photo 'Authentic'

spinner.com - Jim Morrison has been dead for almost four decades but a snapshot belonging to longtime rock historian Brett Meisner allegedly shows the Doors frontman haunting his own grave. And now, just in time for Halloween, researchers now claim the image is authentic.

Back in 1997, Meisner decided to take a snapshot next to the rock legend's grave in the famous Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris, not exactly an uncommon thing to do considering some 1000 people visit the grave daily. The photo, taken by Meisner's assistant, shows the historian casually standing next to Morrison's plot with one hand in his pocket and a white cloudy shadow to his left, the latter going unnoticed until Meisner finally decided to revisit the photo in 2002. The cloudy obscure image to Meisner's left appeared to be the deceased singer himself.

Word quickly spread thanks to the Internet and the historian sent the photo in for further analysis, which concluded that the snapshot was indeed as bone chilling as it was first perceived. In a new book titled 'Ghosts Caught on Film 2: Photographs of the Unexplained,' researchers rule out both lightning and image manipulation and conclude that the photo is simply "unexplainable."

"Part of me wishes that I never stepped foot into the graveyard in the first place," Meisner told the UK's Sunday Express. His life was never the same after taking it. Not only did his marriage dissolve, but in an eerie coincidence to Morrison's life, Meisner lost a close pal to a drug overdose as well. The photo also brought all sorts of characters to Meisner's door, claiming they bore messages from the rock god.

"At first it was sort of interesting to see how many people felt a spiritual bond with Jim and the photo," Meisner said, "but now the whole vibe seems negative." Meisner hopes to privately donate the photo and negative.
