(*sigh*) Here areI the ground rules for determining photographic forgeries. Ask these questions:

Does the angle at which the direct light strikes the sides of all the objects in the picture match up? For example, you have a skyline which is lighted up by the setting sun. A bird is caught in mid-flight, with its wings and body also highlighted from the same direction. Someone has used Adobe Photoshop to "tip in" in the image of an anomaly; the lighting on the anomaly is completely opposite from what is seen everywhere else in the picture. "Buyer beware."

Do the ghosts seem oblivious to the camera, or do they seem to be posing? Excellent examples to use as comparisons for ghostly behavior can be found here at P&M. Notice that the "normal" ghosts just seem to drift on through as if deep in thought, or trying to remember where they are going. Then there are "productions"; sad to say, but I have my doubts about this video. It is just too posed, too theatrical. Some people are very good with working with Flash and videotape. "Buyer beware."

Have you seen a particular anomaly before? Anomalies sneak in where you least would expect to find them. What gripes me is when I see an anomaly in a picture that presumably has not been doctored, yet I know I have seen that same anomaly in another picture that was allegedly taken some 50 years ago. I've seen better with two aluminum pie pans placed edge to edge, with a thread or wire attached to the top one, and the whole thing is hung from a clothes line. "Buyer beware."

There are much more subtle clues to look for, like blurring of moving objects, or proportionate sizes of things or people that don't line up. You have to think and use your eyes and what you know. Good luck.
