MUFON Issues Press Release on Dallas I-20 Incident - Phantoms and Monsters WikiThe following is a press release on a mysterious object that was transported in the Ft Worth, Dallas, area on August 7th of this year. An unknown person or persons had posted photographs on Twitter Web site of a strange object being transported in the Ft Worth, Dallas, Texas area.

Investigators from MUFON had responded, within 24 hours. Investigators deployed, were STAR TEAM Member’s Fletcher Gray from Houston, Texas, and Gary Neitze, from Arlington, Texas.

A personal interview was conducted with TXDOT Rep.

Information from the interview

A permit was obtained by Lockheed from Austin, Texas, to transport a fighter type aircraft from Ft Worth to Houston.

April of 2009 a transfer was conducted on an F-35 aircraft, more than likely going to the UK.

The photo above left shows the aircraft is being loaded at the Port of Houston.

Witness statements stating that they saw the craft west on I-20 exiting 287, south toward I-45. Statements in the report state that they could see part of an aircraft but an unknown type.

At the present time Lockheed Martin is in production of the F-35 and the F-22. The size and shape of the object subject that it was an F-35 in transit. Information was obtained that the aircraft is divided into as many as six parts.

The fuselage was the part of the shipment that everyone on the highway was observing. Observe close at the fuselage; part of the wing structure is built into the aircraft. This aircraft is only 35 feet wide and 52 feet long.

Looking at the craft without the wing or back section it has a saucer shape.

The aircraft is placed on a flat bed trailer with the landing gears for support. The aircraft is then bolted to the bed and trailer, and the protective boxes are fitted around for protection. The boxes are called BBB's or Big Blue Boxes.

Under the amber light the cover would appear green. Notice, there are no tie downs or covering.

The escort around the aircraft may have been from Lockheed and or a private transport company.

At this time MUFON does not wish to discuss the origin of photos. More than likely they were taken with a cell phone. They are of poor quality but enough information was there to know that it was not a UFO.

The origin of these photo remains a mystery. MUFON does not know who submitted them on Twitter web site.

This case was closed by MUFON STAR TEAM as an IFO.

NOTE: I was contacted by MUFON and told them that the convoy made it's way to Houston (3 witnesses emailed me). The extent of further information that they received in reference to the I-45 leg of convoy to Houston is unknown...but they had no idea of what happened to this convoy beyond the Dallas area sightings until they contacted me. Honestly, this explanation is suspicious. I have discussed this with several knowledgeable people in and out of the government and military who tell me that this was probably not a F-35. Again, I'm afraid MUFON may have gotten stonewalled...Lon

Was a UFO Trucked Through Dallas? UPDATE

MUFON Issues Press Release on Dallas I-20 Incident - Phantoms and Monsters Wiki
Is this an F-19 Stealth fighter? Perhaps an F-22 Raptor? Or is it a uncovered UFO on a flatbed truck? It's been suggested that it could possibly be a movie prop but what would the military, or local police have to do with it?

MUFON Issues Press Release on Dallas I-20 Incident - Phantoms and Monsters WikiMUFON Issues Press Release on Dallas I-20 Incident - Phantoms and Monsters WikiOn August 7, 2009 at between 9:00 to 9:30 p.m., traffic on I-20 in Dallas was blocked while a convoy of dark Tahoes, military vehicles and local police escorted a flatbed truck carrying, what a caller to a local radio station said was a UFO. Police began blocking entrance ramps to I-20 and evidently the radio station was told not to replay audio of the callers, then supposedly their email system went to auto.

It also makes one wonder that if is is a UFO, why wouldn't it be covered with a tarp, or enclosed in some type of huge crate? What better way to hide something than in plain sight? Well, lose the escort then and no one will even notice!

Twitter has been "all a twitter" about this incident. Is the secrecy due to the transport of a hitherto unknown fighter plane in transit, or a captured UFO? We may never know.

Meanwhile, I have attempted to enhance one of the low quality photos of the object. All I can say is that the object certainly is strange.

NOTE: Thanks to SW at Lights in the Sky. I received several emails in reference to this incident...I wasn't sure what to make of it...Lon

UPDATE: I received 3 emails this morning from witnesses that verify that this convey was on I-45 south heading towards Houston, TX. One of the witnesses stated that they spotted it about 25 miles out of Houston near Conroe, TX. Of course, we all know that NASA's Johnson Space Flight Center and other top aeronautical entities reside in and around Houston. Food for thought...Lon
