I had a strange experience almost 50 years ago I have never told anyone about.
I had a good friend I often hunted with in the woods near our home. We went Squirrel hunting in a very large tract of woods neither of us had visited before, much further into the woods than we usually hunted in. There were no houses or roads in this area, nothing at all man-made. We hunted this area for about 45 minutes when it began to dawn on us there was no animal activity at all in this place. There were no sounds other than the wind through the trees; no birds visible, no squirrels, literally no signs of life. This seemed very strange because to look at this area you would figure it would literally be teeming with life. I don't remember how it came about that we separated, but we did and I went off in one direction and my friend went off in the other. I can only presume we decided to split up to increase our chances of finding game. Suddenly my friend appeared and the look on his face was ashen. He told me he had been hunting when a giant bird or something had flown right over his head and disappeared into the trees. I asked him if he tried to shoot it and he said no that it had come up from behind him and then was gone in a few seconds. He said the wingspan of this "bird" was 8 feet or more, far larger than an owl, falcon, eagle, etc. It was starting to get into early evening and we didn't waste much time getting out of there and never went back. My friend was not one to tell tall tales and he definitely was taken aback by this encounter. He kept saying over and over, "I have never seen anything flying around in the woods that big, ever" on our way home. We never spoke of it again, but I do believe he actually saw something that scared him and confused him. Who knows what it was. |

In the 1970s, Dr. Rines of the famous photographs at Loch Ness coined this scientific name for such critters. I believe such creatures exist. In the 1800s, passengers and crew of the Daedalus, out in the Gulf of Mexico, saw just such a creature "jumbo size'; and crewmen who are used to being out there on the water (then as now) do not make up stories like that. I also believe that these creatures are interdimensional, but that they do tend to procreate, feed, and grow here in the lakes and oceans of planet earth.

As a shaman, I'm fascinated when certain animals "appear in the world media" during certain times in history. Right now the world is teetering due to a very near collapse of the US / world economy, and who shows up? Black Fox. I wonder if this medicine is similar to that of the black cat, a harbinger of ill omen?
Anyone know anything else about the medicine of black fox? - CKH
