Babylon 1932 and UFOs?This is a featured page

Hello All,
Something I've wanted to post for a long time......an old photo of the ancient ruins of Babylon taken in 1932. After living abroad in the Middle East, I've come to realise that the I am so fortunate to be surrounded by an amazing open air museum, full of amazing artifacts, for those that dare to look! In particular I am fascinated with very old photos of ancient sites wherever they may be and to compare them with photos of how they look today. The differences are stunning.....some good, some bad.
This photo was taken in 1932 in Iraq at the ancient site of Babylon, sadly however, one would never recognize it being the same place if you glanced at it today. It's been revamped, rebuilt and restored to the point of being unrecognizable as Babylon.
The photo interested me not only because of the great detail in the ruins, but because I am intrigued by the disc like object seemingly flying/floating above the ruins towards the top right hand side of the picture, just below the palm tree line. I did post this pic before on another well know site, but was told sarcastically, that this was nothing to do with UFOs but simply a "tent flapping in the wind". Maybe, maybe not? But it would be great to read what other readers might think of this photo as long as they don't say it's a runaway tent, flapping in the wind!! Anything but that, thanks....!

With the opinion held that Iraq and the Middle East was the source of civilisation, it is not beyond the realms of possibility of a UFO being there. If there was no comparable place that could compare with Iraq at the time of its development, it would make sense for a UFO to visit where it thought there was intellligent life. An alien wouldn't base his overall picture on an aread that was less developed in its development.
